Here are the standard CLI shortcuts for line editing:

  ¥ Delete to end of line: Ctrl + K
  ¥ Delete back to beginning of line: Ctrl + U

These work in bash, zsh, and most Unix-like shells.

Other useful shortcuts:

  ¥ Ctrl + A - Move to beginning of line
  ¥ Ctrl + E - Move to end of line
  ¥ Ctrl + W - Delete word before cursor
  ¥ Alt + D - Delete word after cursor (on some terminals)
  ¥ Ctrl + L - Clear screen
